Why Pitstop Exists
Portable sanitation is judged on two things: whether the equipment shows up when it's supposed to, and whether it's clean when someone opens the door. Everything else is noise. Pitstop was built around getting those two things right, consistently, on Long Island — for a fifty-unit construction program and for a single unit in a driveway.
The name comes from motorsport for a reason. A pitstop is precision under pressure: prepared crew, right equipment, exact timing, no room for mistakes. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every delivery, service stop and pickup.

I'm Joseph Libardi. I grew up around events and construction, and I saw firsthand how the big companies often missed the little things—late deliveries, dirty units, and poor communication.
I started Pitstop Portable Sanitation to do it differently. We're a local team built on accountability, precision, and pride in our work. We treat every site and every guest like it's our own — right down to the supplies we stock and the products we clean with.
Pitstop is a family owned and operated Long Island business, built on more than 40 years of experience living, working and serving our community.
